You're right about Dire Wolf.

Still, between Tennessee Jed and Alligator we've covered talking animals (the Alligator mumbles "Bitches.")

But I don't see why I don't get credit for Brokedown and Crazy Fingers, both thanks to the Willow -- to wit.. "Going to plant a weeping willow.." and "Hang your heart on a laughing willow."

You can't get credit for a weeping willow! That's its darned name! That's like giving credit for a "talking animal" to any song in which Pig talks.

But Crazy Fingers is definitely a natural phenomenon that is laughing. Also, there's a cloud with hands, although it's neither laughing nor crying. Just reaching, tapping and touching. And possibly a person who is raining, so that's the reverse ... a person doing a natural phenomenon.

I found another one, but I have to admit I looked it up. In "What's Become of the Baby" the opening line is "Waves of violet go crashing and laughing."
